Our ongoing collaboration with healthcare stakeholders is essential to deliver solutions for patients’ unmet needs and to improve the overall quality of treatment.
We also actively support patient organisations’ initiatives which contribute to the improvement of patients’ health and quality of life.
We are committed to operate with the highest ethical standards and to ensure transparency on these engagements and associated
transfers of value.
ALL is committed to transparency within the pharmaceutical industry and to strengthening public trust in our collaborations with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Healthcare Organizations (HCOs), and Patient Organizations (POs).
In line with this commitment, ALL publicly discloses transfers of value (ToVs) and collaborations with HCPs to the appropriate government authorities and/or industry associations, in accordance with the transparency requirements applicable in the country where the HCP primarily practices.
Where ALL has an obligation to disclose transfers of value, these disclosures may include, where relevant:
Identifying information such as the name and professional contact details of the HCP
The scope of the disclosure, including the categories of individuals covered and the types of transfers of value reported
The legal basis for processing personal data
The country in which the disclosure is made
The currency used
The relevant reporting period
The methodology used to calculate the reported amounts.
Disclosures of transfers of value and the related processing of personal data are carried out based on one of the following legal grounds, depending on the requirements in the country of the HCP’s principal place of practice:
The prior consent of the HCPA legal obligation to make mandatory disclosures ALL’s legitimate interest in fostering transparent relationships with healthcare professionals.
Where permitted by applicable local laws, HCPs may exercise their data protection rights at any time. This may include, where applicable, withdrawing consent or objecting to the further processing of their personal data.
